October 8 Farm Stand

Thanks to everyone who came to our house last weekend to purchase veggies! That was some nasty weather and we appreciate the peeps that braved the elements. Amazingly this Saturday promises to be the exact opposite, high of 80 and sunny! Come on out, say hi, and pick up some fresh veggies.

Throwing in the Towel

Alright. At 8:29 p.m. on Friday night we're calling it. No farm stand tomorrow. The weather just looks too nasty with a high of 45 degrees and 70% of rain. But this does not mean we're done for the season. Barring any major weather issues, we will be back out there next week so we can keep bringing you fresh and delicious produce.

But don't worry, there's still a way to get the goods this week. Come by our house (in Blawnox) between 10-2 to purchase this week's goodies (see post below for full list). P L U S !!!! Every order over $20 will come with a commemorative brown bottle similar to the ones homebrewers fill with tasty concoctions such as Oktoberfest HomeBrews. October 1 Farm Stand

It's getting chilly out there! And the forecast doesn't look so swell for this Saturday. But as long as it's not raining horribly, we will out there, so bundle up and stop by for the last of the summer produce and some fall staples. If for some reason we won't be setting up, check here, Facebook or Twitter for the announcement.



We've got chestnuts this week! They are delicious roasted over a fire -- or even a gas burner. We will also be supplementing our produce with butternut squash and pie pumpkins from Clarion River Organics and butternut squash and acorn squash from Five Elements Farm.

September 24 Farm Stand

Fall is officially here! And guess what's not? Our dang winter squash - the whole crop failed this year. Soooo...we talked to our friends at Clarion River Organics and we will have some of their delicious butternut squash and pie pumpkins at the farm stand this Saturday.
